Oceola Community Center Gym Courts Calendar

UPDATE REGARDING STREET SHOES:

Fall and winter weather brings all sorts of rain, mud, snow and salt that can damage the gymnasium floors. Street shoes are not permitted when using the courts. Please bring an extra pair of shoes to wear when using the gym space at the Oceola Community Center. Thanks for your understanding and patience!

ADULT CLINICS / CAMPS

 

Adult Summer Tennis Clinic (18+)

This class teaches the basic skills of tennis and is ideal for adults who have never played tennis or those getting back into the game after a long hiatus. This class is also designed for players with a basic knowledge of tennis looking to improve their skills.

Please bring a appropriate pair of shoes, water bottle and racket if you have one- few will be available on site. Porta-Potty on site.

Registration Opens: 5/7/25.

Cost: $60 (Resident) / $75 (Non-Resident)

YOUTH CLINICS / CAMPS

 

Karate for Kids (Ages 4-14)

This program combines two crucial courses into one, Sanchin-Ryu Karate & Self-Defense and Project: Secure Child (child safety).

Students will be trained with proven, age-appropriate techniques that are necessary for kids to protect themselves from attackers. This program is set in a fun yet structured, environment which will give your child a positive outlook on learning a martial art. Participants will achieve great self confidence and leadership through the physical techniques, mental strategies, drills and exercises they are lead through.

Uniforms are available, but not required.

Karate for Families (Ages 4 & Up)

A parent and child program for all ages! You must register each family member. Set in a fun, non-competitive and informative atmosphere, this program allows parents to learn alongside their children. Physical techniques will be instructed along with drills and exercises, to help you have a positive experience with your self defense education. Sanchin-Ryu will teach you how to use your whole body, rather than just certain muscle groups, so size and stature are not an issue. 

Uniforms are available, but not required.

Summer Youth Girls Basketball Camp
(3rd-5th Grade & 6th-8th Grade)

Looking to keep your daughter busy this summer and improve their basketball skills this summer? This camp offers girls basketball players of all levels the opportunity to develop skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, etc.), tactics, and their overall knowledge of the game.

The camp will be run by the Cleary University Girls Assistant Coach, basketball coaching staff and girls basketball players.

Co-ed Youth Lacrosse Camp (Ages 5-13)

This Youth Lacrosse Camp will teach you shooting, dodging and skill development. Become more confident with your sticks and gain understanding of when and how to dodge successfully. This clinic is geared toward beginner to intermediate experience in all youth age groups.

Registration Opens: 5/28/25.
